Germany - a debit card and online-banking country - is looking towards a new generation of online (macro-) payment system: the "Online-Überweisung". T-Online offers merchants a payment method based on the existing T-Online Banking Infrastructure, used by millions of consumers. The system is based on the wide spread PIN/TAN functionality which is currently used in most home- and online-banking applications.
The Online Money Transfer combines the ease of use of today's online-banking applications and the well known and accepted process of transferring money across the country towards a new form of internet payment.
